About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing project installations, and ensuring reliable IT services for our clients. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys solving technical problems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first- and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues (Windows, Microsoft 365, printers, VPNs, etc.)
  • In-store sales of Computers, Cellular Phones, and related products.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, user accounts, and email systems
  • Support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID/Azure AD)
  • Document issues, solutions, and procedures in a ticketing or knowledge-base system
  • Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and backups
  • Assist with project installs of computer systems, phone systems, and security/surveillance systems.
  • Assist with wired and wireless network installations and troubleshooting (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls)
  • Escalate complex issues when required and work collaboratively with senior technicians
  • Provide clear, friendly communication and training to end users

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in an IT support or help desk role (or equivalent hands-on experience)
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Preferred Qualifications (Asset)

  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices
  • Experience supporting small-to-medium business environments
  • IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications)
