To repair or replace your device, “Find My” needs to be removed.

Accessories: Apple warrants the repair or replacement of the device itself. Any accessories included but not limited to screen protectors, power cords, adapters, PopSockets, metal plates, and any other accessories not part of the device itself may need to be removed from your device during service. Neither Simply Computing nor Apple will provide a replacement for any broken or lost accessories.

Data: Your data is constantly at risk of loss. It is extremely important to have a backup before bringing your device for service. Though our technicians will do their very best to prevent data loss, the very act of troubleshooting may itself cause data loss. As well, certain repairs may require a restore of your device, resulting in total loss of your data. Simply Computing does not provide backup services for iPadOS or iOS devices.

Third-Party Components/Unauthorized Modification: Third-party batteries will result in ineligibility for service. Third-party screens and other components may cease to function after the repair. Should this occur, customers will be responsible for additional costs in repairing the device or in rare cases, may be responsible for the cost of the replacement device.

Whole-Unit Replacements: In the event that your device goes beyond a same-unit repair or requires replacement due to a repair complication, you may be without your device for up to 5 business days. A loaner device cannot be given for these scenarios.

Mail-In Repairs: In the unlikely event that your device needs further repair beyond a same-unit repair, the device may need to be mailed in to Apple. Depending on loaner availability, you may be eligible for a loaner.
